This past weekend I and several other vendors participated in a new style bridal show. A typical show has booth after booth of products, and pricing and brochures, and business cards, and person after person. Jamie Donaldson with Fox Creek Design had the idea to set up the show like an actual wedding. Everything looked like it would be if you chose Timber Creek Event Center for your wedding day. Crumbs by Breann had a beautiful cake and dessert table set up. Samantha Taylor of Treasure Gardens decorated the whole place with unique flower arrangements (her facebook page) and Jamie decorated so you knew exactly how things would look. Everyone mingled around and chatted without feeling over whelmed with a bombardment of vendors. Chris Holliday of www.chvideography.com walked around videoing as well as answering all questions. Hannah Bridges is a coordinator that is always willing to jump in and lend that extra hand all through out your planning process and day of (her facebook). Valerie of Styled with Val did hair and makeup by HL Beauty. Something more unique than a DJ was Will Okeys on the piano. He knows every song ever (at least it seems like he does) and does a great job at keeping the reception fun. Scotts Bar of Kc poured the drinks and had several fun and tasty drinks ready for our guests. All these vendors really are great people to work with. Each of them have a fun and very helpful personality and they truely want your wedding to rock.
