When a mom comes to me and says, “I have a vision… but I don’t even know if it’s possible,” I know we’re about to create something epic.
Recently, I had the absolute honor of photographing a graduating senior from Saint Joseph, MO whose mom has trusted me with their family’s memories for years. But this time? She had a very specific idea for her son’s senior photos—something unique, something bold, something that felt like him.

This session reminded me why I LOVE working with seniors and their families. It’s not just about getting that classic yearbook headshot (though yes, we always nail that). It’s about celebrating who your teen is at this once-in-a-lifetime moment: full of potential, personality, and maybe a little attitude (the fun kind 😉). This is a fun way to really experiment with light and motion and do things differently!
